Meet The Face Behind Accounting Montreal

I’m Ian Singer, the proud owner of Accounting Montreal.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

My father was a prudent accountant, and number crunching was all he talked about while I was growing up. So it was only natural that I would proudly follow in his footsteps and study to become an accountant.

After qualifying, I soon went to work for an accounting firm of repute in 1997. After learning the ropes, I decided to set up a company of my own so that I could implement my vision of assisting clients in an exemplary manner.

Since starting my enterprise in 2010, I’ve grown from serving three corporate accounts and twenty personal income tax clients to representing over ninety corporate accounts and two-hundred and fifty individual income tax clients.

While my clientele has increased manifold in the last decade, I’ve still managed to develop personal relationships with each one, and many have become close friends. The trust built up has helped to implement my business philosophy of rendering a quality service consistently.

I respect clients, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is that I work with honesty and integrity while providing value for money. I also attribute my success to my hard work ethic and having a strong determination as I’m passionate about my job.

The most satisfying part of running my business is when I’m able to give back to my community by hiring enthusiastic go-getters. I also enjoy constructing accurate financial statements and persevering to find tax-saving solutions.

When I’m not filing returns, my favorite hobby is to collect Canadian coins. I also love to ski during winter and take vacations with my family.
